 Anderson Park Historic Assessment
The City of Aspen Parks and Recreation Department contracted SMITH to complete an historical assessment of existing structure and landscape conditions at Anderson Park. Anderson Park is a city-owned property containing a potentially historic log cabin and smaller outbuildings. We conducted research of the park, log cabin, and outbuildings and provided a professional evaluation of each resource’s eligibility. We identified whether any of the existing landscaping is of historic significance and prepared a cost analysis for the recommended preservation treatment of the historic structures.
