Jefferson County Open Space Parks
Several years ago the Open Space Division started a long-term process of conducting cultural resource inventories on their parks. The purpose of these inventories is to collect information that will be used to guide park development, resource management and planning, interpretive programming and protection of the cultural resources. We conducted a Class III Cultural Resource Inventory on approximately 1,831 acres of Open Space park land at four separate locations and performed a historical evaluation of the buildings on the Tracy parcel of Flying J Ranch Park. |
