 Sandstone Ranch
SMITH provided a variety of cultural resource services for this 2,000 acre ranch development. Our services included a Class II Archeological Resource survey and report and completing Level II documentation/recordation to meet Section 106 compliance before the Section 404 permit was issued. SMITH prepared the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Corps of Engineers, the Colorado State Historic Preservation Officer, and AR Sandstone Ranch. The MOA conferred Level II recordation as sufficient mitigation for adverse effects incurred by future development within a Historic District. The MOA was successfully executed by all parties in April 2008. |
