 Broomfield Reservoir Prairie Dog Removal
The County Line Road and SH7 project site is covered by over 30 black-tailed prairie dog (BTPD) colonies and an estimated 400 prairie dogs. SMITH assisted in finalizing the wildlife management planning for the area. This included trapping, relocating and fumigating BTPD. We trapped, relocated these prairie dogs to the black-footed ferret reintroduction area in Colorado and the raptor recovery program in Fort Collins, Colorado. |
