William White Boulevard Environmental Assessment
SMITH completed an EA to fulfill project compliance with NEPA for a proposed roadway. The new roadway was built and other stretches of William White Boulevard were improved in 2007 and 2008. We completed baseline studies and an Impact Assessment of the wetlands, T&E species, wildlife, Senate Bill 40 resources, Section 4(f), vegetation, noxious weeds, cultural resources, paleontological resources, and air quality modeling in the project corridor. The EA is in compliance with NEPA, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) environmental guidelines, and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements as defined by 23 CFR 771 and 40 CFR 1500. It was reviewed and approved by CDOT Region 2 and FHA. |
